{ you buy 80 pts for a dollar BUT that's not the conversion. You see, DeviantArt takes a dollar as tax off your $5 when you buy points so you only get 400 points. Also, DA users are not allowed to buy or sell points from or to one another (as mentioned in the rules of DA) ESPECIALLY at the rate of 100 pts for 1 dollar because that's tax evasion = Illegal }
Some information:
*You need a deviantart account to receive points, you also need to have da points if you want to send them to people
*So if you have 0pts well you can't send any to anyone.
*Be VERY careful when trading points for money, or they other way around, with other users. Never send large amounts. People get scammed that way almost every day. If the account is brand new, don't trade with them at all!
* Don't use a second account to 'pay yourself' through the commission widget, to convert your points to money. It is against the DA rules, and they will block your use of the commission widget permanently (and they will notice).
How to send points
You open Deviant Art on the WEBSITE (Very important).

You need to use the website and not the app
Picture 1: (In red)You go to the profile of who you are sending the points to and click the present image.
Picture 2: (In red)You click on "give points"
Picture 3: (In red)You write how much points you are giving. (In blue)Where it is circled blue you have to write your password but there's an option to remember it so you don't have to write it every time.
Earning Ponts
*You can earn points by buying them or doing commissions/selling adopts for points!!
*Enter contests and raffels!
*Resell adopts you own (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE OWNED IT FOR AS LONG AS A WEEK AND HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTIST TO SELL IT, READ T.O.S{Terms of service} OF ARTISTS, DO NOT SELL IT FOR MORE THAN WHAT YOU BOUGHT IT FOR)
*Dahub, they give points to accounts that meet their qualifications, and its really easy to earn them from the hub. Here's the link
CHECKING YOUR BALANCE
Method 1
You open deviant art on the WEBSITE(very important).
Picture 1: you click on your picture
Picture 2: you click notifications
Picture 3: click on see transaction history of the last transaction you received
Picture 4: bam there you go

Exchanging Points to Money
It is possible to change your points into PayPal but it usually takes a long time,you have to have a valid PayPal account linked to your deviant art account. I think you have to have a commission widget, if you know about this comment and I'll add it!

Hook up your PayPal email to your account with the PayPal selection. You have to wait 14 days given the transaction time but that's even for points. Once you have money to withdraw you can take it out via PayPal, Points, or into a check (Not recommended though).
So in the PayPal / Check situation 1$ = 100 points, as it doesn't tax off your profits.
1 Dollar to Euro
$1 = €0.82
1 Dollar to Philippine Pesos
$1 = 52.0728PHP
1 Canadian dollar to Mexican pesos
$1 = 14 Mexican Pesos
Commission widget tutorial by the one and only Dummmyyy
1)On your deviantart account on the desktop site you have to click edit page
2)Inside edit profile you'll see a "widget" thing and it'll most likely have a see all button you press that
3)And at the end of the list there's a commission widget you click that
4)You press the + button put in the commission type and price and there you go
5)click on, install
6)a misc should open like this
7) type in your stuff and you are done :0
